1st prize: 120,000 CZK
Author: Apropos Architects s.r.o. /
Ing.arch. Michal Gabaš
Co-author: Ing.arch. Tomáš Beránek
Jury assessment: The winning design creates a generous square on the side facing the main road and respects the street line of the historic village green on the other side, maintaining the street line along the road and situating the technical yard. The mass of the hall connects with the adjacent gable of the neighboring building, while the main gable of the town hall creates a dominant feature of the public space and somewhat mirrors the gable of the neighboring house. The jury positively perceives the use of trees to shield the gables of the neighboring building. The author proposes forms corresponding to the typology of municipal development, using traditional materials typical for the municipality. The architectural form of the town hall differs from the form of the fire station building. The jury also appreciates the distinction in materials by using a different roofing material, allowing for the identification of separate functions. The jury positively evaluates the location of the town hall function on the ground floor, a clear entrance from the square, entrance to the hall, and the connection of the interior with the exterior. The jury appreciates the direct access of light into the hall and its opening into the space under the roof. The fire station also has a well-solved exit for fire trucks. The design adhered to the required volume of the building. Given the material-structural solution, it is assumed that the stipulated investment costs can be respected. Likewise, the volume of heated space should correspond to the possibilities of the organizer. Furthermore, because the functions are in separate buildings, the design allows for phasing.

2nd prize: 80,000 CZK
Authors: IGLOO ARCHITEKTI s.r.o. /
Ing.arch. Jan Pačka, Ing.arch. Igor Šimon
Collaboration: Ing.arch. Radek Fila
Jury assessment: Through an interesting mass composition, the public space improves towards the main street, which belongs to or borders the main public space creating a new modern village square. The new town hall building dominates the square, and its dimensions allow for large events. The mass composition of the entire design corresponds to the internal functional divisions. The author uses forms suitable for the typology of municipal development and also utilizes traditional materials typical for the municipality. The design adhered to the street line of the original development on the historic village green. By articulating the individual volumes, it integrates into the scale of the surrounding development. The mass of the new town hall also addresses the issue of the neighboring gable. The scale, mass, and form correspond to the significance of the building. The jury positively evaluates the aesthetics of the semi-transparent tower. The hall's solution is generous in terms of lighting, opening into the roof, including the facilities for the hall. The design exceeds the specified building volume. Although the authors of the design justify this exceedance, the jury is convinced that the proposed solution can be adjusted to comply with the stipulated investment cost limits. The functions are situated in separate buildings, and the design allows for phasing.

3rd prize: 50,000 CZK
Author: FARA ON union s.r.o. /
Ing. et Ing.arch. Rudolf Müller
Collaboration: Ing.arch. Martin Křivánek
Jury assessment: The design creates a new square in the center of the municipality towards the main street and integrates all required functions into one mass. It also addresses covering the gable of the neighboring building with vegetation. The jury appreciates the adherence to the street front on the historic village green. The entrance to the town hall is centrally located, aligned with the main space. The hall is positively connected with the exterior. Within the building, the authors propose an internal atrium, creating a pleasant semi-public space for employees and visitors, while also allowing light to enter the building from the inside. The compact design minimizes communication areas. The jury positively assesses the ground-level placement of all functions and the interesting contemporary form of architectural expression. A slight exceedance of the required building volume may not necessarily lead to increased investment costs. Due to the compactness of the building, operational cost savings can be expected. Phasing is complicated.

Award: 25,000 CZK
Authors: AKJančina s.r.o. / Ing.arch. Juraj Jančina, Ing.arch. Jozef Bátor PhD., Ing.arch. Jozef Kijonka, Dang The Anh
Jury assessment: The jury appreciates the creation of a public square and a semi-public courtyard between the buildings. The form corresponds to the traditional form of rural development interpreted with modern elements. The jury considers it positive that the parking lot is located outside the main public space. Due to the relatively large amount of modified outdoor areas and the façade material, a higher construction budget can be expected.

Award: 25,000 CZK
Authors: P6PA+Architects s.r.o. / Javier Navas Fabregat,
Ing.arch. Martin Klejna
Jury assessment: The design contemporarily interprets the traditional form. The central position of the town hall and the hall corresponds to the significance of the building in the organism of the village. The public space adjacent to the social hall is pleasant.
