Nominated buildings for the awarding of the J. M. Olbrich Prize 2015-2016

The Association Za Opavu announces that for the granting of the J. M. Olbrich Award for quality architectural achievement for new construction realized in the Opava region in the years 2015-2016, a total of 18 proposals were received. Of these submitted proposals, a total of 17 projects were nominated.


The expert jury will evaluate the nominated buildings in the coming days.
Members of the expert jury of the J. M. Olbrich Award this year are: MgA. Daniel Barták, designer; Ing. Venuše Drochytková, civil engineer, head of the construction department of MMO; Ing. arch. Lucie Langerová, architect and head of the heritage department of MMO; Ing. arch. Zdeněk Lukeš, architectural historian; Ing. arch. Kamil Mrva, architect; Ing. arch. Pavel Nasadil, architect; Ing. arch. Martin Rosa, architect.

The Association Za Opavu has been organizing the J. M. Olbrich Award since 2017. On the occasion of the tenth anniversary, we present a new logo for the J. M. Olbrich Award to the public.

We cordially invite you to the ceremonial award presentation, which will take place at the CELLA Gallery on Matiční Street in Opava on April 11, 2017, at 6 PM.
The presentation of the J. M. Olbrich Award will take place on the occasion of the opening of the exhibition of nominated buildings, which will be on display at the CELLA Gallery until April 26, 2017.
