BiographyBarnabáš Kissling was a Slovak architect. His most famous architectural work is the building of the
Slovak Radio. He studied at the József Nádor Technical University and at the University of Applied Arts and Technology in Budapest, completing his studies in 1952 at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Slovak Technical University in Bratislava. Later, he worked at Spojprojekt in Bratislava, where he focused on the design of postal and telecommunications buildings. His projects were realized throughout Slovakia and in Moravia. From 1966, he worked at the State Research, Design, and Standardization Institute (ŠPTÚ) in Bratislava, where, together with Štefan Ďurkovič and Štefan Svetko, he created his most significant project – the building of Czechoslovak Radio in Bratislava (now Slovak Radio, part of RTVS, 1968–1984).
