Address: Palazzo Serbelloni / veletrh Salone del Mobile 2016, Milan, Italy
Investor:Lasvit
Completion:2016

The design loosely follows the intense morphology of the Baroque-Classical spaces of the Serbollini Palace, exclusively intended for the exhibition of lighting fixtures by the Lasvit company during the Milan Furniture Fair Salone del Mobile 2016.
A significant aspect of the installation is primarily the need to provide individual space for each often-voluminous light sculptures and the technical solution of their support system. The chosen form of the apse or niche, characterized by an addition, sculpture, altar, or other central object, defines individual spaces and simultaneously becomes a hanging structure.
Their free arrangement across the hall's surface resembles a Baroque ball, where individual mysterious figures adorned with precious jewelry move across the 'dance floor', engaging in casual entertainment or gazing into large-format Louis-style mirrors. The steel structure clad in black barrisol is conceived as a 'fullerian' geodesic dome. The sharply cut surfaces evoke a relation to the tradition of Czech cut glass, but also to cubist morphology, whose connection to Baroque principles is often articulated.
