Vila Salabka

The new family house is essentially based on the irregular shape of the trapezoidal plot and the necessary setbacks from the adjacent roads and buildings. This defined basic shape of the building is further modified according to the orientation of the driveway and entrance, as well as possible views and orientation to the cardinal directions. The resulting shape of the building is thus more of an artistic-functional response to the basic limits of the plot and its surroundings, and it does not primarily aim for an independent architectural composition, even though the resulting architecture of the house is less common.
