Rooftop apartment in Prague

The structure of the apartment consists of a steel frame that allows for the realization of a fully glazed wall and a continuous terrace with a view of the panorama of Hradčany. Sliding windows made from aluminum frames are shaded by electrically controlled silver-gray curtains and milky sheers. The open layout of the apartment is complemented by furniture of simple forms and hidden storage spaces, while the space is functionally divided by sliding partitions made of frosted glass. The apartment is accessed through a spiral staircase, followed by an entrance hall, a living area with a kitchen and a workspace, a bedroom, and a bathroom. The white-gray furniture made of sprayed MDF boards was custom-designed; simple cubic shapes run through the space and contrast with the tropical wood floor and the green Ligne Roset Downtown sofa.
