Site-specific installations offer a space for audiovisual detox and relaxation after visiting exhibitions. You can contemplate what you saw in the gallery or simply completely relax your mind. This year, the architectural-artistic duo Schwestern created an installation called Observation Tower. The three highest-placed windows in the former transformer station reveal a view of the unique Klárov space, bounded on one side by sought-after views of Prague Castle and on the other by the Letná profile. In the enlarged window frames, you can find comfortable seating similar to cozy home bay windows. The centerpiece of the meditative installation is a spiral staircase leading into a illuminated void. Rest in the art.

"The Observation Tower installation for Kunsthalle Prague is located in the so-called Tower. However, the recently renovated space evokes more of an attic room. A prominent feature is the wooden trusses and small windows with views, which have been variously used and misused in the past. The built-in segment of the spiral staircase is designed to create the feeling that the visitor can seemingly ascend upwards and make use of the alcoves by the windows for resting or surveying three different sides of the world. However, the ascent has its limits dictated by the size of the room. The color scheme is monochromatic. Shades of gray are taken from the interiors of the gallery. Only the blue cushions refer to the fact that the space is managed by the educational department of the gallery."
