The National Film Archive is moving to a "90s" administrative building located opposite the Na Fidlovačce theater until the Žižkov Freight Station is renovated. The requirement for the furnishings was clear – timeless elements that would help employees adapt to the move to an open office and that they would be able to take with them in the future.
The NFA offices are largely located on the third floor and take the form of an open office. Therefore, the main criterion was its optical division. For this, we chose our furniture line TAK, consisting of wooden shelves placed on light gray storage cabinets, which can separate the space while preserving airiness, and the wood additionally adds a pleasant atmosphere. The shelves are largely used for the NFA's book database and plants. The offices are intermittently interrupted by relaxation areas with comfortable seating – initially featuring café-style seating and a space with a sofa softened by a yellow curtain, which allows for further gifts of space. The office spaces are complemented by several differently sized meeting rooms with TAK conference tables, sometimes separated only by glass. In the central area of the wing, there is a nook used as a "paper room" with a prominent raised table with bar-style chairs, a printer, and lockable boxes for employees. A similar relaxation room is also located in the middle of the wing with a two-seater sofa and book shelves, and at the end of the corridor opposite the restrooms, which is separated by a library. In the eastern wing, there is an office for employees who do not come in every day but can use a shared working desk with a laptop.
