Architect: de.fakto | Filip Hejzlar
Address: Czech Republic
Completion:2019

The interior of the newly built urban family house was designed into a functional and successful layout, which was already defined by the house’s designer upon the architect’s entry into the project. The only thing the architect changed was the seamless connection between the kitchen and dining area with the living area, achieved through two symmetrical sliding panels that, when the space is opened, hide entirely into a central fixed panel, on which the television is mounted. The artistic concept is based on sensitively chosen natural materials combined with beige-gray lacquered boards and plaster. The interior offers a large amount of hidden storage space, which is sufficiently oversized for the needs of a young family of four with a wide range of interests and hobbies.
