Family house in Lety near Dobřichovice

Family house in Lety near Dobřichovice
The plot for the new family house is located in the built-up area of the Central Bohemian municipality of Lety near Dobřichovice. Its terrain slopes to the southeast, offering views into the Berounka valley and the neighboring grove. These are the main aspects shaping the arrangement of the house. The entrance level is divided into two height levels in accordance with the descending terrain, so that the house offers direct contact with the garden without significant height differences. The second floor is then placed on the lower level. At the overlap of both floors is the focal point of the living space with a raised ceiling and upper lighting. This simple layout provides a generous continuous space while maintaining the privacy of individual rooms. Towards the street, the house is closed off by a low structure for parking two cars up to the boundary of the plot. The sloping attic gracefully balances the height differences between the floors and simultaneously gives the house a dynamic form.
The vertical structures are masonry, sandwich with mineral thermal insulation. The facade is mostly made of ventilated cladding of larch boards. The horizontal structures are monolithic reinforced concrete. The lower of the flat roofs is visible and is thus planted with extensive greenery.
