Family house in Černilov

Family house in Černilov
The house is located in the outskirts of the village of Černilov. The elongated shape of the plot oriented east-west determined the placement and floor plan of the house itself. The house is elongated as a single mass, situated in the northeastern corner of the plot. All living rooms are oriented south with their glazed surfaces, and the southern and southwestern parts of the garden are used for recreational purposes. The entrance to the garage and the access walkway are direct, perpendicular to the access road.
The concept of the house comes from the investor's requirement to design a simple, affordable house that provides sufficient comfort for a family of 4-5 members. The building is two stories, without a basement, with a rectangular floor plan and no further divisions. The roofing is designed as a gable roof, which also creates coverage for the bedrooms' terraces at both ends on the upper floor.
The entrance to the house is through a recessed foyer, integrated into the mass of the house. A wooden outdoor terrace adjoins the main living space and the study on the ground floor. Furthermore, the ground floor includes necessary facilities and a garage. The upper floor is conceived as the private part of the house - consisting of three bedrooms with hygienic facilities.
The facade is clad with Cembonit fiber-cement boards in two colors and two types of laying patterns. The windows are wooden in a natural shade. The roof covering is made of Vltava fiber-cement corrugated sheets in black, which transitions to transparent fiberglass corrugated sheets in the terrace area. The visible elements of the roof structure are also in a natural shade. Steel elements exposed to external influences are hot-dip galvanized. The sheet metal elements are made from titanium-zinc sheet.
