Family House Chuchle

Family House Chuchle
A house nestled on the slope in Prague's Chuchle. A house that defines itself against the surrounding buildings while also orienting itself to views of the surroundings. A simple cube, located on the floor plan of the original building, which is complemented by protruding blocks.
The villa was designed as a reconstruction of the original structure; however, during construction, it became evident that the house was in far worse condition than revealed by exploratory probes. It is practically a new building constructed on the floor plan of the original structure.
The three-storey villa addresses parking spaces, wellness, a study, and a guest room at the ground level. The second floor is dedicated to the main living area with a kitchen and dining room, featuring a separate living room and another study for the owner. The upper floor houses private bedrooms, children's rooms, and a separate parental wing with a dressing room and bathroom. Of course, there are private terraces accessible from individual rooms as well as a barbecue area located on the ground floor facing the garden.
The interior is designed very simply, almost puristically. Individual rooms are designed as windows to the landscape with unrestricted views of the surroundings.
The façade is designed in plaster, blending white and gray colors. The smooth façade contrasts with the rough stone base, which stabilizes the entire slope.
