Reconstruction of the cultural house in Velatice

The reconstruction of the cultural house consisted not only of technical adjustments (masonry restoration, acoustics, electrical installations, relocation of the gas boiler) but also of enhancing the aesthetic quality of its interior spaces. The aim of the design was to unify the spaces as much as possible in terms of materials and colors, to downplay the additional, albeit necessary, elements, and to focus attention solely on the ongoing events. At the same time, emphasis was placed on quality, practical, and variable execution that would serve its purpose for many years.
As of now (September 2020), the reconstruction of the adjacent municipal pub is nearing completion, and the repair of the adjoining courtyard, where all cultural events take place in the summer, is also being planned.
