Municipal Office Osov near Beroun

The area, which includes the plot designated for the construction of the municipal office, is located in the space between two distinct parts of the village. One part consists of residential buildings from the seventies and eighties, while the other is formed by original buildings. Given the surrounding urban structure, the design is conceived as a simple object to avoid excessive spatial burden on the plot, creating an architectural composition in scale corresponding to the surrounding residential buildings. The proposed building reflects the architectural styles of the surroundings. In this way, a "joint" of the municipality has been created. Seeking solutions in the forms of historical Czech countryside in this location does not capture the essence of the place.
The chosen architectural form, despite its small volume, carries the seriousness of its social mission - representing the citizens.
