The reconstruction concerns a three-story building from the end of the 19th century. The new filling includes a luxury car dealership on the ground floor, a kitchen and a dining area for the employees of the car service on the first floor, and an open office in the attic.
The design of the structural modifications preserves the original significant elements of the existing building and creates space for the new function of the building. A large proportion of glazed surfaces and subtle steel elements of the load-bearing structures respond to the new technical filling.
The existing original staircase, including the railing, has been repaired. The floor of the showroom was made as a poured black terrazzo. The floor of the gallery was designed from glass square panels laid on a suspended steel structure.
