Korean Embassy Building

The project of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Pelléova Street in Prague 6 consists of the reconstruction of the original villa in the street front and the construction of a new wing in the garden part of the plot. The restoration of the neo-Renaissance appearance of the villa corresponds to the original state before 1909. The new mass of the west wing is designed as an architecturally contemporary building.
The facade travertine cladding of new west wing is provided with vertical grooves, transparent parts are formed by low-reflection glazing. The garden part of the embassy plot is adapted for social events, the grassy parts with existing mature trees are complemented by residential decks.
