<Cafeteria> Norma </Cafeteria>

The café Norma was established on the foundations of the original public toilets in the city park of Piešťany. The location and the ever-present lush greenery of the extensive park give this place a unique character and atmosphere. On the border of greenery and the city, at the edge of its center, a new "beacon" has filled a previously empty space in the park's amenities. It responds to the presence of greenery by maximizing the opening of the façades. It is a covered loggia with a concentrated view that is projected further onto the street. The simple interior combines concrete, steel, and wood. The red steel shelf with stairs alludes to the nearby House of Art. Wide leisure stairs connect the café with the park. They serve as both a viewing platform and a stage for the life of the café and the city.
