The interactive exhibition titled Marie von Ebner-Eschenbach, Woman of Three Centuries (1830–1916–2016) introduces the personality of this exceptional woman and writer in three rooms dedicated to her life, work, and legacy. Among the exhibits, one can see facsimiles of manuscripts, a collection of watches, original portraits, and book publications. A special room with touch screens, projections, and games is dedicated to children.
In designing the exhibition, the author decided to work with modern forms and a strictly orthogonal system of furniture and paneling. The color scheme is based on prints of authentic period frontspieces of published works by Marie von Ebner-Eschenbach. The exhibition is designed so that visitors can navigate it without a guide. Additional information can be found in the interactive programs on the touch screens.
