House conected with greenery

The house was built more than a hundred years ago and through these years it gets a lot of small extentions. The aim of the refurbishment was to return the house to its original outlines with a touch of modern times in purely minimalist lines and details. The character of the place is thus reflected in the architectural concept of the house and its shape.
The main idea was to create a logical connection between the house and the surrounding area at all levels of the land, remove non-functional areas and use the potential of the site by „inviting“ the adjacent greenery into the interior of the house. To achieve this concept, the roof with various extensions was removed and the original gable roof was created, the garage was moved and a dining room with a kitchen was added, which connection to the upper garden.
On the ground floor there is an entrance with a new staircase position is created. There is also a private study / guest room, utility room with access to the original cellar, bathroom and toilet. The corridor of the entrance area ends with a fireplace, as a symbol of the heat of the „heart of the house“, where there is a generous living space.
The residential part is oriented to the south and thanks to the large window a nature park, where it creates an endlessly changing image. The kitchen with a dining room located to the north is complemented by a skylight and another large window overlooking the intimate atrium with seating created recessed between the surrounding buildings.
On the upper floor of the house there is a private part with kid’s rooms and bathroom, bedroom with direct access to the garden and private closet and en suite.
