Domeq - student housing

Domeq provides facilities primarily for foreign young talents who have come to Brno for work or study. This new housing concept offers 159 modernly furnished rooms with more than three hundred beds across 12 floors. The ground floor serves as a common room with a kitchen, billiards, as well as spaces for work and meetings. At the same time, care has been taken to maintain the right balance between sought-after privacy and shared spaces for social collaboration and activities.
The building fits organically into the developing Ponávka area, a former brownfield that has been undergoing conversion since 2010. The historical zone of heavy industry and slaughterhouses near the center of Brno has been gradually transformed into a green complex, with the banks of the flowing Ponávka stream revitalized.
Currently, two additional dormitories for the accommodation of students and "young professionals" are being built in close proximity to Domeq.
