The family house is the first in the future expansion of the village's zoning plan for Malá Čierna. The unpaved access road is currently the only line that crosses the pasture between the village and the forest. For these reasons, approximately half of the built-up area of the house is back-grassed.
The entrance to the property is from the northern side, where there is a double garage, storage rooms, a boiler room, and an entrance to the house. Through the vestibule, we enter directly into the main living area – the kitchen, dining room, and living room. In the middle of the living room, there is a straight staircase leading to the attic, where children's rooms are located on both sides of the staircase. From the main living room on the ground floor, there is also access to a bedroom with a separate dressing room and bathroom.
The house is designed as a two-wing masonry structure composed of a living area – attic with gable walls – and a single-story service section of the house with a green roof. On the southeast side, the house is open to views not only of the village but also of the massif of Malofatranský Kľak. The glazed areas in this part of the house illuminate the entire depth of the living rooms. On the eastern and western sides, the house is inspired by the traditional shapes of triangular roofs of houses found in the village. However, the house lacks a classic roof ridge, and the massive western roof slope creates the aforementioned two attic children's rooms.
The house is a new form, yet it adopts the shaping of the roof mass from the traditional architecture of the villages in the Rajecká dolina.
