The cottage in the Ore Mountains stands in the middle of the plot where the steep slope eases and forms a terrace. The mass of the house is set at the edge of this terrace so that the windows provide an unobstructed view of the nearby hill, Klínovec. The entrance area is replaced by a covered footbridge that connects the house to the level of the roadway. The motif of the entrance footbridge-bridge is a commonly used traditional element in the area, both practical and aesthetic.
The cottage is designed as a wooden structure on a base of exposed concrete. Light enters the basement through concrete-filled glass rods. The facade cladding is made from strips of cut cement-bonded particleboard.
