Čerešne Living is a new urban district of Bratislava that will continue to develop in further stages of construction. In the currently undeveloped area of the city - on Polianky, between Patrónka, Kramáre, Karlova Ves, and Dúbravka, in a forgotten territory of inaccessible gardens, industrial infrastructure, but also in an attractive location between the forest, gardens, shopping center, and a well-known Bratislava housing estate, a unique residential neighborhood with modern urban qualities of an evolving modern European city is emerging.
The individualized residential buildings of Čerešne are designed where the design of each building is adapted to the specific utility and aesthetic criteria of residents for a peaceful and pleasant family life. In the courtyard of the first part of the complex, a carefully created semi-public open space for relaxation and leisure has been developed. Community gardens, children's and crossfit playgrounds, and clubroom spaces are designed to foster good neighborly relations. Each building is composed according to different principles, with the aim of achieving a diverse variety of environments as a contrast to the privacy and intimacy of residential spaces, which are always enriched with various forms of front gardens, balconies, and terraces with greenery and trees.
The comfort of residents in the new urban district of Čerešne is created by the vertical layering of convenient and secure underground parking, public commercial ground floor, parking, and semi-public courtyard with private front gardens, through residential floors with specific designs of entrances, staircases, and railings of individual houses, to the diverse roof configuration of terraces of duplexes and the "parasite" building with a panoramic view of the surrounding natural scenery.
The landscape and gardens of the new urban structure project, Čerešne, are inspired by Bratislava's cherry gardens, which form the history of the area, with motifs of cherry blossoms, trees, and structures interpreted in the architectural details of colorful mosaics, concrete reliefs, and in the design of lighting. The complex is completed by a monumental architectural structure of a red "cloud." Čerešne will gradually grow into a lush urban environment with diverse types of housing, houses, and apartments of varying shapes, heights, and facades, with colorful configurations of terraces, loggias, and balconies, an active living environment connected with nature and the surrounding landscape.
