The entire complex consists of 4 buildings and is divided into two separate investment actions for funding reasons. The first is the BALUO Application Center located within the Faculty of Physical Culture at UP in Olomouc, which includes 3 buildings completed in 2016. The second action is the Kinanthropological Research Center of the Faculty of Physical Culture at Palacký University in Olomouc, which will be implemented in the following years. The new area will ultimately consist of one renovated existing building (the former laundry - building A, which has not yet been realized) and three new structures that are directly connected to it.
The first completed building is a connecting corridor - building B, serving as the main entrance to the complex. This connecting corridor has two entrances from the exterior, one from the existing faculty buildings on the east side and another from the newly constructed parking lot on the west side. The interior provides access to objects C (testing hall) and D (testing pool). On the northern side of the building's ground floor, there is a cafeteria, and between the two entrances to objects C and D, there is a reception area with hygienic facilities, and the remaining space serves as a respiratory area. The second floor is dedicated to sports activities for users and is divided by lightweight glazed acoustic partitions into 4 exercise rooms used for spinning, yoga, light machines, and meditation. At the southern end of the block, there is a children's corner. Illumination is provided by large-format glazed external walls.
To the east side of building B, there is the testing hall - building C. This consists mainly of a spacious testing gym and a smaller testing gymnastics hall with a climbing wall. Along the large hall, there is a three-story section containing hygienic facilities for the sports hall on the ground floor. In the upper floors, there are prototype workshop rooms, testing laboratories, a ski simulator, and research workspaces. Above the smaller testing hall, there is an administrative core for the management of the buildings on the third floor. The entire building is clad in visually appealing concrete façade panels, which are complemented by plastic climbing holds. These serve both aesthetic functions and will be actually used for climbing on selected façade surfaces.
On the western side of the connecting corridor of building B, there is the testing pool - building D. Here, the central area of the building is a hall housing a large 25m swimming testing pool with four lanes and two smaller testing pools. One serves as a swimming tunnel with adjustable counter-current, while the other functions as a rehabilitation area with a higher temperature and bubbles. This space is once again connected to rooms for hygienic facilities and changing rooms. The basement houses the technical facilities of the building. The second floor only covers part of the building's footprint. It contains the air conditioning machinery room and two rooms for the swimming school and swimming laboratory, both of which overlook the pool hall. The spacious layout is illuminated by linear vertical windows that give the interior a necessary sense of height. The façade is made of wooden cladding, as wood is a material associated with water, boats, and natural bathing.
