Founded in 2010 by Ondrej Chybik and Michal Kristof, we are an architecture and urban design practice with offices in London, Brno, Prague, and Bratislava and over 60 architects. We understand the profound impact our built environment has on shaping the way we live, work, and interact with one another.
CHYBIK + KRISTOF is successfully expanding into new markets, and we’re looking for a key addition to our team. We invite you to join our team as an architect, contributing to the development of diverse architectural projects on an international scale. You'll play a crucial role in upholding the distinctive character and high standards our studio is known for, collaborating with our esteemed clients and partners.
About the Role:
● Design Development: Assist in translating conceptual ideas into detailed plans, drawings, and specifications, ensuring aesthetic and functional integrity.
● Project Coordination: Work closely with the Lead Architect to align designs with project scope, budget, and schedule.
● Technical Execution: Ensure designs comply with building codes, zoning regulations, and sustainability principles while maintaining design intent.
● Quality Assurance: Participate in design reviews, ensuring accuracy, creativity, and adherence to project requirements.
● Team Collaboration: Coordinate with other architects, engineers, and consultants to facilitate smooth project execution.
● Documentation & Reporting: Prepare detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and reports to support project milestones.
About You:
● Master’s Degree in Architecture, Urban Planning
● Preferably 2-3 years of experience, but can be a fresh graduate
● Design skills and a commitment to excellence.
● Proficiency in design software such as ArchiCAD, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe InDesign and Rhino (nice to have).
● Knowledge of local building codes and sustainability standards.
● English level minimum B1, Czech or Slovak knowledge is a must.
● Excellent communication and presentation skills.
