The company ELITE BATH has been a stable partner of architects in the premium bathroom segment for many years. At the beginning of 2020, when it obtained representation of the brand bulthaup for the Czech and Slovak markets, it transformed into a new entity ELITE BATH+KITCHEN, becoming the only company in its field to provide truly comprehensive solutions in the area of bathrooms and kitchens.

The Slovak showroom of this company is located on Dvořák's embankment in Bratislava and last year – just a year after its opening – it won the prestigious International Property Award for the best retail interior in Europe. The Prague showroom, where we visited Lukáš Školoud, the general manager who has been leading ELITE BATH+KITCHEN for the Czech Republic and Slovakia from the start, is located in Karlín. During our visit, we talked about how the showroom is designed and how the company can make the architects' work easier. "Our goal is to breathe life into the visions of architects and ensure that the results of the implementations exceed their expectations."

What is the secret of successful implementation?
It lies in practically every activity we conduct. We not only collaborate with premium brands and have a team of capable people, but we also prioritize service and oversee the final implementation to ensure that every project meets the expectations of both the architect and the investor. What is unique about it?
We tried to design it in such a way that it is easily accessible, making it as easy as possible for architects to work here and for them to invite their clients. We also knew that people needed to orient themselves well and not feel lost among the multitude of displayed products. That is why you won't find tiles displayed here. Although we have them available, they are hidden in cabinets with a pull-out system. Everything is simply arranged so that the products are at hand, but the main focus is on what the architect wants to show the client.

This brings me to this bulthaup kitchen setup with a dining table, which occupies about fifty square meters here. What significance does this space have?
I am convinced that people go where they feel good. And a sterile glass meeting room with a white table and chairs is not quite an ideal environment. I think that when an architect walks through the showroom with a client, selects individual components for the bathroom, and then discusses everything at the dining table over good coffee, it is much more pleasant. This place is essentially our meeting room.

How does your collaboration with architects look?
We give them space to come, bring their clients, and show them the elements they have designed for their bathrooms. At the same time, we provide them with someone who has a perfect overview of all products and will show them the places that are interesting to them or that they want to see. They then work with this person throughout the project and have the opportunity to consult with them.


How does the implementation proceed? You hinted that one thing is the design, another is the quality of the products, and third is, no less importantly, the implementation itself. What can be understood under the service and oversight to ensure that every project is successful?
Although we are not an execution company, we strive to do everything necessary for each project to be successfully completed. That is why we also provide our customers with contacts to companies that can carry out the project and with whom we have positive experiences. We want the process not to just stop at a quality design and visualization, but for the execution to be precise as well. I believe that anyone can sell. To exaggerate, you can find products anywhere. Our added value is that we know how to assemble and install the products thanks to our contacts. That is why we spend a lot of time educating craftsmen, and we have been collaborating with some for ten years.

So when an architect selects products with you, you subsequently recommend an execution company that will in some way guarantee that the result will meet their expectations…
Exactly. In our team, this is managed by a specific person who serves as a mediator between us and the execution company. Whether it's a company recommended by us or chosen by the client, our person coordinates everything and ensures that everything turns out well. We care about the result; it is our business card.
