The ventilated facade system with vibropressed cladding facade panels is designed for the realization or renovation of the outer shell of buildings using dry construction. Among the main advantages of this facade treatment system is the long service life and overall maintenance-free nature of the structure.

The cladding facade panels themselves meet current demanding criteria and architectural trends required for the modern appearance of colored concrete surfaces. At the same time, this product, due to its photocatalytic function, also serves as an environmentally beneficial building material that can contribute to improving the environment, especially in areas with heavy motor vehicle traffic.

The anchoring of the cladding facade panels is solved using the aluminum mounting system HAFIX, which is characterized by easy installation, variability, and the possibility of installing the cladding even in winter. Its main part consists of anchors with load-bearing and spacer functions screwed to the load-bearing wall structure through pads made of microporous EPDM rubber and vertical and horizontal profiles forming the basic and main load-bearing framework, on which stainless anchoring elements for securing the actual cladding facade panels are placed (foundation, continuous, termination elements). Variants of offsets from the load-bearing structure are according to the lengths of the used load-bearing anchors 70 mm, 120 mm, or in the adjustable variant in the range of 120-230 mm. The outer shell can thus be insulated up to 200 mm thick with insulation material. The arrangement of load-bearing anchors is in a grid of 850x400 mm.

The attachment of facade panels by this system allows their potential thermal expansion independent of the load-bearing structure. The elimination of thermal bridges and possible noise transmission between the building's load-bearing structure and the anchoring element is ensured by EPDM pads. The anchors allow the leveling of unevenness in the load-bearing substrate up to about 20 mm; if necessary, a combination of anchors of different lengths can be used to level larger irregularities.

The photoactive function of the facade panels lies in the use of a photocatalytic additive based on TiO2 in the preparation of fresh concrete; the additive thus becomes a permanent part of the facing (visible) layer of the cladding panel. The particles of this additive, with the help of light energy, reduce harmful nitrogen oxides NOx, organic compounds, and also biofilms (e.g., algae, fungi, bacteria) to harmless compounds that are subsequently washed off the surface by weathering effects.

  • through photocatalysis, the capture and growth of microorganisms, algae, and moss on the surface of the concrete is significantly limited
