The couple from the Moravian-Silesian Region decided to renovate their terrace. The existing solution in the form of a shading sail was no longer sufficient, and moreover, the place next to the pond called for a more ingenious solution from an aesthetic point of view. The investors spend most of their time in the garden, so they wanted to enhance their favorite spot with a view of greenery and make it more comfortable.
The terrace, directly adjoining the family house, hides a cozy seating area with a grill and, surrounded by a well-maintained garden, provides a refuge from the hustle and bustle of the nearby city center. The pleasant atmosphere is complemented by sensitively chosen lighting, but what was lacking in the exterior was appropriately designed outdoor shading that would skillfully deal with the chimney of the built-in grill and at the same time create a pleasant shade for the users while preventing the interior of the house from heating up.
The investors' requirement was a pergola that would stylishly enliven the facade’s appearance while being simple, airy, and just ideal for summer days. They found a solution in the form of the Cubolino pergola, which is a combination of a sturdy yet elegant construction and a lightweight fabric canopy. The canopy made of high-quality acrylic fabric moves in aluminum rails matching the color of the construction.
In rainy weather or at night, the canopy can be pulled back to one side; in winter, it can be fitted with a protective cover or stored in a dry place in the basement or garage. Individual parts of the canopy can be easily replaced in case of contamination or damage. “We looked for an optimal solution for our terrace for a long time, but we mainly saw the problem in the irregular facade. Now we are very satisfied,” say the users. They also add that they are considering supplementing the pergola with screen roller blinds in the future, which is also possible as an additional feature of the Cubolino product. The roller blinds will ensure that users are not disturbed by unpleasant insects or unwanted outside views during the evenings on the terrace. Additionally, the structure of the zip roller can be painted in the same color as the pergola, and the fabric can be matched with the canopy.
“We were satisfied with the company's approach – everything went smoothly from the first consultation through measurements to the implementation. The pergola met our expectations, and we plan to add roller blinds in the future,” the couple agrees in conclusion.
