During the March Light+Building trade fair, Delta Light presented a range of novelties. The Frankfurt exhibition center was illuminated by a flood of new colors, surfaces, and shapes. The existing lines of fixtures were expanded, and entirely new ones were introduced. A sparkling novelty is the original shades Flemish Gold and Flemish Bronze, which perfectly match the minimalist design of Delta Light fixtures. They can elevate the interior while keeping it minimalist, yet still somewhat eclectic. Warm metallic shades have dominated the scene of interior design for several years. Delta Light's offerings now also include champagne gold and black bronze, colors reminiscent of the shine of the 1950s, giving metal a touch of warmth. A special black lacquered aluminum with ground edges known as Black Pure, with an industrial flair, can elevate the interior from conventional to eccentric.
PUNK'S NOT DEAD
The iconic punk subculture, which stirred the world in the 1970s, influenced not only music but also fashion and art. And it remains a source of inspiration to this day. Punk details thus penetrate the realm of contemporary architecture, where they express individuality and creativity. Spikes that might seem unapproachable at first glance become significantly more refined and sophisticated when paired with light. The punk style introduces a new element to the Delta Light range, with the PUNK collection offered as flush-mounted ceiling fixtures, pendant lights, and as part of the light objects XY180. The new color palette of these fixtures further emphasizes the punk look. They are available in black, champagne gold, and a special surface of black lacquered aluminum with ground edges, Black Pure.
VIZIR AND HEDRA CAPTURE EVERY ASPECT OF LIGHT
The entirely new series of fixtures VIZIR and HEDRA bring sophistication to the Delta Light collection in the form of new surfaces and colors. Both types of fixtures come alongside classic white and black colors in champagne gold and black bronze, showcasing subtle reflections. VIZIR offers a smooth fixture surface, while HEDRA is characterized by faceted edges, which reflect ambient light from the interior. Options include flush-mounted ceiling, pendant, and wall-mounted fixtures. The standard LED lighting solution in the pendant version can be replaced with a traditional bulb, providing a retro effect.
DOT.COM
The family of recessed fixtures DOT.COM is a reissue of the very successful originally surface-mounted fixtures. These minimalist lights provide optimal lighting performance with maximum comfort for your eyes. The LED diodes are recessed into a slender aluminum body, allowing you to perceive the light itself rather than the fixture. DOT.COM is available in fixed and directional adjustable versions, with or without a frame. The simple appearance makes the fixture a timeless object and a highly functional architectural element at the same time. Additionally, the DOT.COM light is also available as a module for magnetic profiles or as the profile itself, functioning perfectly as a wall wash.
POINT-LINE-SURFACE OF XY180 FIXTURES
The XY180 fixtures were designed by one of the most renowned architectural studios, OMA. The shape of the fixtures is inspired by three key elements of architecture - point, line, and surface. The fixtures were specifically designed for commercial buildings, office spaces, or other public locations. The continuous surface created by using multiple identical fixtures in succession is the strongest idea behind the design of the fixtures themselves. A grouping of slightly rotated fixtures plays out a geometric light game.
ULTRA SLIM SUPERNOVAS
One of the most versatile and popular series of fixtures in the Delta Light range has significantly slimmed down. The SUPERNOVA family now offers a Flat variant with a thickness of only 66 mm. The fixtures can be standardly installed as surface-mounted or pendant, illuminating downwards or both upwards and downwards simultaneously. Delta Light has saturated the demand for square central fixtures with WINDOW lights in square or rectangular shapes in various sizes.
HIGHLIGHT YOUR SUPERLOOP
The collection of circular and square SUPERLOOP fixtures with a magnetic system, introduced last year, has now become even more interesting. New to the offering are original Flemish colors, Flemish Gold and Flemish Bronze. The same colors are also provided in the light modules HEDRA and VIZIR, compatible with magnetic profiles. This creates attractive combinations, such as a black circular Superloop with gold reflectors Vizir with faceted edges. Adding modules with opal or clear glass to the Superloop profile then creates an ultra-modern interpretation of a traditional chandelier. And for those looking to elevate the Superloop to unexpected heights, they can now also equip it with the light modules XY180.
PROFILE LIGHTING IN 4 DIRECTIONS
The unique light profile ONE-AND-ONLY emits light in all 4 directions thanks to its cross-sectional shape. It functions as a pendant light and is available in a maximum length of 5 m and in 3 colors, besides black and white, also champagne gold.
THE THINNEST LIGHT PROFILE
The new TAGLINE profile creates an ultra-thin light line that resonates naturally with the space's lines. The simplicity and maximum slimness of the line can artistically highlight the interior design or conversely emphasize key architectural elements. Light lines can be extended throughout the entire space, maximizing its potential. TAGLINE profiles can be recessed, with a frame-less manner, surface-mounted, or suspended. For accentuating selected elements, light modules Microspy can be inserted into the profiles.
OUTDOOR LIGHTING
Outdoor lighting has not gone unnoticed either. The new collection of fixtures ELBO creates the right atmosphere outside. The light they emit can be minimalist, cozy, and functional at the same time. Different atmospheres are created using various optics, with opal glass ensuring pleasant diffused light.
