The architects' vision transformed into reality

The goal of the architects from the dirschl.federle_architekten studio was to create a facade ornament that would allow for a subtle and unobtrusive image on the northern side of the building with a large and partially closed facade. The starting point was the idea of using paper chains from childhood as a graphic motif. The creators did not want to create a clear and obvious graphic but rather to have the idea be recognizable only upon closer inspection.

Application of StoSignature creative renders

From an implementation perspective, it was not a particularly complex solution; on the contrary - the type of design render used could easily be applied much more frequently. The application consisted of using two differently textured renders and simple, handmade wooden stencils, precisely arranged in rows below each other. The primary, fully functional layer of smooth render forms the base for the second, coarse layer of render, applied as decoration. This technique can be used to implement everything from simple geometric shapes to more complex patterns.
