Houses in passive standard require windows that meet the most demanding thermal-technical requirements. These requirements apply not only to the windows as a whole but also to their individual parts, including window profiles. The solution for selecting window profiles for passive houses is offered by Deceuninck in the form of the six-chamber plastic window profile Inoutic Eforte, which won a Silver Medal in the Construction Product – Technology of the Year 2010 competition.

Inoutic Eforte, using standard steel reinforcement, a building depth of 84 mm, and without additional insulating elements, achieves an excellent frame thermal transmittance coefficient of just 0.95 W/m²K. When using glazing with a thermal transmittance U(g)=0.6 W/m²K, plastic windows from Inoutic Eforte profiles reliably meet the parameters of passive houses. With specialized glasses, it is even possible to achieve a thermal transmittance value for the whole window of U(w)=0.66 W/m²K, which is significantly below the values set for passive houses.

The Inoutic Eforte system allows for the installation of glass in window sashes to a depth of 20 mm, ensuring optimal surface temperature in the area of the glazing bead. This element is unique in the area of opening elements. The new weldable multifunctional seal solves impact balancing, or rather sealing of the glass to the frame, and reliably protects against adverse weather and provides excellent noise insulation. Thanks to the building depth of 84 mm, the Inoutic Eforte profile can be used in both new buildings and old constructions. All components - the PVC material used and the steel reinforcement, are fully recyclable.

With a whole range of windows that otherwise meet the conditions for use in passive houses, there is a problem if the user wants a color other than white for the frames. The reason is different chamber fillings that have a different expansion than the plastic itself in the frames and can cause considerable issues. Thanks to ideal parameters, the Inoutic Eforte profiles do not have this problem. The advantages of the Inoutic Eforte system include an extended offer of 40 colors, including exclusive Titanium Plus foils that give plastic windows the appearance of aluminum windows. The new color offer is divided into five series, which differ in shades and surface texture:
Classic colors – 6 long-term favorite colors, including golden oak, mahogany, or walnut. The basic element of this series is the elegant pattern of wood grain.
Traditional colors – 13 wood decor types from local and foreign types of wood with a fine wood grain.
Timeless colors – 12 solid color shades of foils, including less traditional colors such as steel blue or burgundy red.
Trend colors – 4 trendy shades of gray with a fine and noble pearl surface texture.
Architectural colors – 5 exclusive Titanium Plus foils for architecturally demanding designs of modern buildings. Titanium Plus technology with metallic pigment gives the window frames an elegant metallic appearance. The high-quality multilayer Titanium Plus foil is also extremely resistant to weather, temperature, and UV radiation.

Modern technologies were used in the production of all color variants, ensuring quality surface treatment, easy maintenance, and high resistance to UV radiation.

In February 2011, the Inoutic Eforte window profile was awarded a silver medal in the
3rd annual competition for Construction Product – Technology of the Year 2010, announced annually by the Foundation for the Development of Architecture and Construction (ABF). The unique window profile was awarded for its simple, flexible, user-quality, and highly technically advanced solution for low-energy and passive houses.
