Is your dream to have a house full of windows and sliding doors that you can lock or unlock with the touch of a button and then move or tilt within a few seconds? Exactly these "gimmicks" are offered by the automated window and door profiles of Schüco, a world leader in building envelopes and solar systems. Not only comfort in use is a key criterion in the development and production of modern electrically operated aluminum window and door profiles of this brand, but there are also high demands on energy savings, security, and design. A certain enhancement is provided by fire protection systems, burglary security, and electronic access control systems. The system also allows remote setting, controlling, and synchronizing of ventilation, shading, and interior temperature with ventilation, lighting, and heating or air conditioning regulation. It is no problem to program intelligent windows, for example, into a night cooling module to ensure the influx of cooler outdoor air into the interior. Proponents of extensive glazed sliding systems will also find satisfaction, as these can be easily, quickly, and effortlessly operated with a single click, despite their high weight.
The Schüco company thus offers an extensive system program for automated building control for aluminum window systems AWS, sliding systems ASS, and door systems ADS. These innovative profiles set new benchmarks in energy savings, security, and design. All components are perfectly coordinated with each other and can be integrated into other facade elements without architectural compromises. System automation goes hand in hand with comfort, ease of use, safety, and timelessly elegant design. The clean lines of the innovative Schüco profiles with central seals, ensuring the best thermal insulation values, and hidden fittings for easy operation and refined design, are complemented by designer handles and modern control panels. An intelligent system can be designed, including electronically controlled window and door profiles, lighting, air conditioning, heating, ventilation, shading, and security of the property. This is operated and controlled through a central control unit or smart mobile phones, computers, or remote controls. The system monitors both the internal and external temperatures and maintains an optimal state according to set parameters, ensuring property protection and enabling "communication" with the homeowner remotely. The basic and key component of the comprehensive automated Schüco system, contributing to comfort and satisfying use of the family house, is high-quality and easily operable aluminum windows and sliding door systems equipped with ingenious types of fittings.
Schüco TipTronic Electric Window Fittings of the Future
Schüco TipTronic represents the first hidden mechatronic fittings that combines effective energy management, safety, building automation, comfort, and design. As a result, Schüco window profiles become an integral part of the energy management of the outer enclosures of intelligent buildings. It is a completely concealed electric fitting supporting the clean lines of windows. The TipTronic fittings, which are also compatible with safety triple glazing, can be installed in sashes weighing up to 160 kg. The vent position with a maximum width of 40 cm is ideal for utilizing night cooling and hybrid ventilation. The window can be intuitively operated and controlled via a button on the handle (the button also offers a night design with an integrated LED diode), remote control, PC, or central control unit. With the help of a special interface, up to 30 windows can be included in one group and operated with a conventional button or via the EIB interface. Unlike conventional automatic windows, TipTronic fittings provide locks located in multiple places, thereby offering increased resistance to break-ins up to resistance class WK2. Security is also ensured by magnetic switches connecting windows with the alarm and building management system. Users will appreciate the integrated protection against finger pinching, as the window can detect an obstacle when closing and react immediately. In 2006, TipTronic fittings received the prestigious German iF Product Design Award.
Ingenious System for Sliding Doors Schüco e-slide
Controlling large and heavy transparent glass panels is no problem for a child with the Schüco e-slide sliding system. E-slide represents an alternative mechatronic fitting for the Schüco ASS sliding systems. The fittings are compatible with sashes sized 300 x 300 cm and weighing up to 250 kg. Convenient and economical operation of the sash is ensured through an integrated control panel, external buttons, or the central automated home system. The elegant control panel with clean lines fully meets functional and aesthetic requirements. The fittings are used to open, close, and lock the sliding system from the inside and to control it from the outside. For comfortable external access, the sliding system can be equipped with a fingerprint scanner or coding.
