Maxim Velčovský and Zdeněk Fránek designed different windows for JANOŠÍK

JANOŠÍK WINDOWS-DOORS: We know that well-thought-out and fine-tuned windows can highlight the unique character of the entire house. It is a common belief that windows are rigid. We want to prove the opposite; flexibility is possible here, and there are no limits to imagination.

The collection "other windows" significantly shows this not unfamiliar, but forgotten quality of windows. It plays with light and shadow, gives the idea of framing images a new dimension, and looks back into the history of carpentry. The designs are by Maxim Velčovský, architect Zdeněk Fránek, and one of the windows was created in-house by Jakub Janošík.

We will present other windows from October 27th to 31st at Designblok.

TRANSPARENT

Designed for homes where wooden walls transform into open space. Designed for spaces where wooden surfaces transform into transparent walls.


LEVITATION
design: Jakub Janošík

The opening window levitates in a glass plane. A fully glass design on both sides. Perfection is achieved when the window frames the central point of the canvas in the distance.



WINDOW WITH DOWEL

A modern window with a detail of our ancestors, who, with the help of primitive tools in bare hands, accomplished wonders.


SKYWALL
design: arch. Zdeněk Fránek

A fully glass design from the exterior, which makes the window maintenance-free. Fixed windows without frames. Natural wood in the interior, presented only subtly on the opening parts.




We frame the most beautiful pictures. Yes, we believe that the view is the most significant feature of a window. We believe in the individuality of houses. We balance between these two ideas and from there, we create and manufacture our windows and doors.

With "other windows" comes a new logo that better communicates and reflects our philosophy. Windows allow us to observe the world around us, and that is also the fundamental idea of the new visual style from Studio Najbrt.
