Thanks to maximum efficiency and ideal light dispersion, a small number of luminaires is sufficient for normalized safety lighting. A wide range of applications is guaranteed with mounting heights from 2.2 to 7 m!
LED technology requires only a minimal supply of energy. The installed power is just 5 W, and in standby mode, it is only 1.5 W. Similarly, the design of the power supply system and wiring is also energy-efficient. The project complexity for RESCLITE is low and does not depend on general lighting. 

Conventional Solution - emergency lighting integrated into general lighting

For the integration of emergency lighting into general lighting, several emergency luminaires or emergency modules are installed at regular intervals within the standard lighting system. These luminaires usually have reduced intensity (brightness) in emergency operation, but do not exhibit any radiation characteristics specific to emergency lighting. The standard prescribed intensity and quality of lighting can only be achieved by using a large number of luminaires.

RESCLITE Solution - independent emergency lighting 

If a project is realized with the RESCLITE system, the integration of emergency lighting into general lighting is no longer necessary. This significantly simplifies the project design, installation, and commissioning. Regular and emergency luminaires are functionally independent. The lighting-technical parameters of RESCLITE luminaires have been optimized specifically for emergency lighting use, thereby significantly reducing the number of necessary emergency luminaires. Additionally, the low installed power of max. 5 W allows for the use of very small power system capacities.

The EN 1838 standard prescribes a minimum illumination intensity of 1 lx for escape routes. The range, or maximum distance between RESCLITE escape luminaires, is up to 23 m.

To prevent panic in case of emergency, the EN 1838 standard requires a value of 0.5 lx. Thanks to the wide dispersion and rotationally symmetric emission, the RESCLITE anti-panic system can evenly illuminate considerably large areas. A single luminaire can ensure orientation and highlight escape routes or obstacles over an area of up to 170 m².

These locations must have a lighting level of at least 5 lx. Other application areas include places where intensive safety lighting is required, such as potentially hazardous areas and safety equipment.

Installation
According to customer requirements and available space, RESCLITE luminaires can be installed on the surface, recessed, or on TECTON tracks. All three mounting types allow for installation and maintenance without the use of tools.
Since the temperature inside the luminaire matches the ambient temperature, batteries and LEDs achieve maximum lifespan. Long-lasting products reduce maintenance costs, thus contributing to environmental protection.

RESCLITE emergency lighting offers benefits in every respect thanks to its low installed power
: Smaller cable cross-sections, lower fire risk, and reduced capacity significantly reduce power system costs - allowing for a reduction in system power by up to 85%. In this way, RESCLITE saves both the budget and the environment.

Design
The RESCLITE safety lighting system does not require an expensive lighting design, and in any case guarantees compliance with lighting standards. With the help of practical design tools, maximum distances from walls and between luminaires depending on the ceiling height are readily available.
