The magazine INTRO cordially invites you to the premises of the Letná water tower, where on May 13, 2022, at 18:00, the baptism of the latest issue of the INTRO magazine will take place, along with a debate not only about plastic in architecture. This event will be the first in a series of regular meetings that will take place in unconventional locations, during which interesting personalities from the field of architecture will have their say. This time, the architects Petr Hájek, Martin Kožnar, and Petr Šmídek will be featured, whose contributions or projects you will find on the pages of the current INTRA. The informal evening will be led by the magazine's editor Martin Verner and editor Tereza Šváchová. You will learn how this issue came to be and will have the opportunity to take a peek not only under the lid of the entire work process but also into the architect's soul and ask anything that interests you. At the end, a tour of the water tower will be prepared for interested parties, guided by Petr Hájek, the author of its reconstruction design.

He is a recipient of the Architect of the Year 2018 award and many other accolades. His architectural work responds to context, is unique, experimental, with overlaps into other fields. Alongside projects of family houses, interiors, new constructions, and the reconstruction of cultural and educational buildings, Petr Hájek has long been engaged in urbanism. He currently works in his own architectural office Petr Hájek ARCHITEKTI and also as a lecturer at the FA ČVUT and VŠVU in Bratislava.
Petr Šmídek (1977) studied architecture at the FA VUT in Brno and the AVU in Prague. Since 2001, he has been responsible for the foreign section of the internet portal Archiweb.cz. From 2008 to 2015, he taught at the FUA TU in Liberec and currently serves at the FA VUT in Brno.
