The construction industry is shaped by a dynamic competitive environment with an increasingly rapid technological development. Market demands are becoming more complex and require individualized, diversified products that allow architects freedom in their work. The company Schüco responds to this challenge with innovative technologies based on simplicity, flexibility, and reliability in cost planning, manufacturing, and installation. In line with high demands for design, comfort, and safety, the company is launching two new products in the portfolio of façade systems in the Czech market. With Schüco FWS 35 PD and Schüco FWS 60 CV profiles, façades can be constructed that are fully glazed and light-permeable, connecting the interior with the exterior. In addition to uninterrupted transparency, energy efficiency is also emphasized.

Frameless glazed façade in passive standard

Transparent design in façades requires more than just clear glass surfaces. Only in combination with minimalist profiles in a purist style does it achieve perfect execution. The sleek façade system Schüco FWS 35 PD for glazed cladding has a unique visible profile width of just 35 mm, while meeting thermal insulation values in accordance with passive house standards. The panoramic design with minimal visible profile width guarantees an unobstructed view as well as an external view of the façade. The modular system is compatible with triple glazing of up to 52 mm thickness, façade constructions of other visible widths (50, 60, and 80 mm), and with classic window and door systems from Schüco. It is produced in two levels of thermal insulation and is tested in security class RC 2. Besides its excellent appearance, the added value of the façade is efficient production and easy installation. Prefabricated components lead to significantly faster processing. The optimized fastening system into the construction structure again facilitates on-site installation. It is a representative façade construction for residential and commercial buildings.

New generation of strip windows: transparency, functionality, and narrow visible width
Increasing demands for sound and thermal insulation properties in recent years have led to the construction of more robust window profiles. It seemed that these technical criteria were incompatible with elegant and clean frame designs. However, for the façade system Schüco FWS 60 CV (Concealed Vent) for the hidden integration of opening elements into the façade, this has been achieved. Schüco has found a revolutionary solution for strip windows, combining extremely slim lines with a high degree of functionality and optimal thermal insulation. Maximum transparency is achieved by innovating the system through the unification of the sash with the supporting structure. Fixed panels and opening/tilting parts are indistinguishable from the outside. Only on the inside can one see a fine joint and a handle that reveals the opening element in the façade. Two construction depths and a variable installation method allow for diverse applications, from classic windows to mezzanine (floor-to-ceiling) windows. This market innovation allows for elevated design of new façades as well as enhancements to existing structures, both in appearance and thermal insulation properties. Tested in security class RC 2.
