The newly registered Bauhaus Center Avion Brno, located in one of the narrowest hotel complexes in Central Europe, the National Cultural Monument of the Czech Republic - Hotel Avion, invites you to a unique series of lectures led by Michael Siebenbrodt, former director of the Bauhaus-Museum in Dessau and Weimar. Michael Siebenbrodt is a recognized expert on Bauhaus who has lectured in more than 30 countries worldwide. In the 1980s, he also participated with Kamil Fuchs, the son of Bohuslav Fuchs, in the general reconstruction of the Tugendhat Villa in Brno. From October 26 to November 2, 2024, a series of eight lectures on Bauhaus will take place at Hotel Avion in Brno. The topics include Bauhaus as a school of invention, the role of women in Bauhaus, Bauhaus artists, social housing, music and theater, modern design, and new media.
