After Spanish, Finnish, and Japanese days, the Croatian magazine Oris has prepared lectures by five Portuguese architects for us at the beginning of May. The cycle will kick off on May 8, 2009, at 2:00 PM in Dubrovnik, and the following day all speakers will move five hundred kilometers north to Zagreb, where Álvaro Siza, Eduardo Souto de Moura, Joao Luis Carrilho da Graca, Nuno Brandao Costa, and the duo of architects Cristina Guedes and Francisco Vieira de Campos will gradually present at the local congress center Vatroslav Lisinski, starting at 10:30 AM. The whole event will culminate on May 10, 2009, at the Zagreb gallery Karas, where Kenneth Frampton will ceremonially open an exhibition of twelve projects by Álvaro Siza. Tickets for the lectures are priced at 30 Euro (18 Euro for students) and can be reserved via email at: tihomir.brankovic@oris.hr
