Petr Janda: About Work, Joys, and Struggles - Lecture at FUA TUL

Petr Janda (*1975 Zlín) is an architect and visual artist, a graduate of FA ČVUT (prof. J. Bočan) and the School of Monumental Creation AVU (prof. A. Veselý). Since 2008, he has been leading his own studio petrjanda/brainwork. He regularly participates as both a juror and a competitor in architectural competitions and exhibitions, where he has received several awards (GPA2007, BigMat '13 - Memorial to the Victims of Communism in Liberec). From 2011 to 2014, he was a member of the board of the Czech Chamber of Architects and the chairman of the Architecture Promotion working group. Since 2017, he has held the position of an architect at the waterfront.

Petr Janda will be a guest leading the Architectural Creation studio at FUA TUL for the winter semester 2021-2022.
