offcity_architekti: Spoušti / Perla Ústí

The penultimate in a series of lectures by "offcity architects," which this year are presented by clubs, associations, and platforms working with the city, public space, and architecture. We present those who organize events, lectures, and festivals, those who initiate, activate, and familiarize the broader public with topics of architecture and public space. Once again, we will try to open a broader dialogue on the questions that relate to the environment and the reasons for the establishment of this association through the lecture.
After the previous inspiring lecture from the Slovak environment, we will return to our region and welcome representatives from the association SPOUSTI from nearby Ústí nad Orlicí. The association was founded in 2009 with the intention of organizing the film festival Jeden svět. It is clear that this was not the end, and the association began to penetrate the cultural and social life of the city. Evidence of this includes initiatives such as Perla Ústí, Ústecké nádraží, and Hazardu Stop.
What do all these initiatives have in common, and what successes or failures has the association achieved? What are the other activities of this association? All of this will certainly be addressed during the evening.
