Coconut, secret, white house, whale, bathtub, at the three dwarfs, and many others were various names behind which, however, hid one and the same type of buildings. The headquarters of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia represent a distinct product of the era that still stirs passions today. The background of their creation and the architects' approach to their design will be unveiled by architectural historian Miroslav Pavel. The lecture will take place as part of the summer program of the House of Arts in Brno.
