Kazunori Fujimoto is a Japanese architect known for his minimalist and geometrically clean designs that often utilize concrete and glass as primary materials. His work is characterized by strong visual contrasts, simplicity, and functionality. He designs his buildings with respect to the environment, creating a harmonious relationship between architecture and landscape. He was born in Yamaguchi, Japan, in 1967. In 1991, he graduated from Waseda University. In his early years, he worked for Tadao Ando Architects and NASCA. In 1998, he founded Kazunori Fujimoto Architects. The Japanese architect and minimalist Kazunori Fujimoto prepared his presentation at universities during his visit to the Czech Republic as a guest of the 3rd annual Czech Steps conference, which is part of the project of the same name Czech Steps.
