We invite you on Tuesday, June 4, 2019, at 6:00 PM to a lecture and book signing at Fryč Bookstore and Antiquariat, Pražská 14 in Liberec.
The lecture will focus on the works of Michaela Hečková and architect Martin Rajniš. Both will discuss their books. Michaela Hečková will present the visually-documentary book 20000, co-authored by Matěj Chabera. Martin Rajniš will introduce us to the book Twenty-Five Thousand Days of Memories, co-authored by Magdalena Šebestová.
The guests of the lecture will be the Czech scholar and project manager Michaela Hečková, who has been working on the theme of revitalizing public space for several years, known for projects like Pianos in the Streets and Signal Festival.
Another guest will be architect and urban planner Martin Rajniš. His project includes the airship Gulliver, which is part of the Prague Center for Contemporary Art DOX. He is a member of the architectural office Huť architektury, which he co-founded and specializes in working with wood, glass, and stone.
