What is the relationship between population density and public infrastructure costs?

On Monday, June 11, 2018, at 6:00 PM at the Center for Architecture and Urban Planning, Vyšehradská 51, the launch of a new publication will take place, which will serve as a basis for cities when deciding on the development of their territory. Density and the Economy of Cities compares the relationship between population density and public infrastructure costs using specific examples.
The publication is intended to serve as a basis for informed decision-making by responsible local governance regarding the development of their territory. It will also be useful for responsible state administration and urban planners. The book was created as a result of collaboration among a broad author team composed of experts from the Czech Technical University – Masaryk Institute of Higher Studies, the Institute of Planning and Development, architects, and economists, who successfully obtained and subsequently implemented a grant supported by the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic (TAČR).
