Boris Ondreička (*1969) is the artistic director of viennacontemporary and a curator at Class of Interpretation Prague, former director of the artistic initiative tranzit.sk, and a curator at Thyssen-Bornemisza Art Contemporary in Vienna. He has collaborated and curated Rare Earth, Olafur Eliasson's "Green light—An Artistic Workshop" and 6 seasons of the spoken word frequency Ephemeropteræ, all for TBA21; The Question of the Wave, OSF, Bratislava; and Empire of the Senseless, Meetfactory, Prague; Manifesta 8, Murcia, Cartagena, ES; Being The Future, Palast der Republik, Berlin, DE; Auditorium, Scéna, Backstage, Frankfurter Kunstverein, DE. He is a co-founder of the Society of Július Koller. Most recently, he curated “The Abyss Seeker [Benthic Zone]” – a solo exhibition of Joey Holder at Future in Prague, Registration of Stan Filko at Fait in Brno (with the architectural design by Ján Studený), and recently S.O.S. at Kunsthalle Bratislava.
