Architect in Practice 2024 - Lecture Series at FA VUT
As part of the lecture series Architect in Practice, aimed primarily at second-year master's students, six graduates from the Faculty of Architecture at VUT Brno will gradually present their work experiences during the winter semester. The introductory lecture took place on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at 5:00 PM in the large auditorium A310, where Michal Palaščák showcased the implementations of the architectural studio dílna. Further lectures will be held at 5:00 PM either on Tuesdays or Thursdays in the small (A118) or large (A310) auditorium, Poříčí 5, FA VUT in Brno, and are freely accessible to all interested in contemporary architecture.

HRA (Girls Love Architecture) is formed by Barbora Císařová (Kudelová) and Kristýna Sirová, classmates from the Faculty of Architecture in Brno. In 2020, we established the studio Holky rády architekturu, abbreviated as HRA. We focus mainly on interiors, but also on studies of family houses, smaller objects, or public spaces.

David Prudík graduated from the FA VUT in Brno in 1992 and has been running a private practice since April 1996, focusing on various areas, including the restoration of monuments, new constructions, renovations, interior and furniture design, and landscape architecture. Prior to that, he gained work experience with Jindřich Škrabal in the P.A.W. studio and Vladimír Čuhel in the Tišnovka studio.

SENAA is an architectural studio founded by Jan Sedláček and Václav Navrátil. We gained valuable work experience in studios in Brno, Prague, Rotterdam, Los Angeles, New York, and are further developing it. We approach each assignment individually, seeking new solutions and placing great emphasis on the feasibility of the construction. We work in a team of experienced architects and collaborate with several specialized firms. We deal with all areas of architecture from urbanism to new constructions, renovations, and interior design. We process all stages of project documentation. Since we come from Haná and Slovácko, we are close to traditional principles and common sense.
