<VŠUP> announces a selection process for the position of external teacher for the Typology of Public Buildings

The Rector of the Academy of Art and Design in Prague, located at Prague 1, nám. Jana Palacha 80, announces a selection procedure in the study program M8206 Fine Arts, in the field of Architectural Creation for the position of external educator for the four-semester course Typology of Public Buildings, which is intended for students in the 2nd and 3rd years of the Department of Architecture.

Qualifications required:
• University education in the specified field,
• professional practice in the field,
• teaching experience - not mandatory
• knowledge of the English language is an advantage

Information about teaching:
• number of students in one class – 14-16,
• weekly teaching load - 4 teaching hours,
• length of the teaching part of the semester - 12 weeks.

Course of the selection procedure
The first round of the selection procedure will take place remotely. Valid applications will be assessed by an expert committee appointed by the rector, and 2 candidates will be selected to be invited to the second in-person round for an interview.
The results of the selection procedure will be announced to individual candidates no later than September 25, 2015.
The expected start is the beginning of the academic year 2015/16.
