Olomouc - New Philips UrbanStar lamps, which the city hall wanted to install in the center of Olomouc, are currently not allowed in the square. The Olomouc Regional Court fully granted the proposal for a preliminary injunction filed by Prague architect Jan Šépka, co-author of the reconstruction of Horní náměstí. According to him, this is a violation of copyright, as reported today by the Central Moravian edition of Mladá fronta Dnes.

According to Šépka's lawyer František Vyskočil, the court decided on the preliminary injunction on Wednesday. The city hall can file an appeal; the mayor is currently on vacation and has not yet received the court's resolution. Thus, the replacement of the lamps is prohibited until the dispute is resolved. The city leadership wanted to replace the lighting already this summer.
