After school? - Discussion program of the Faculty of Architecture CTU

Designer Roman Kvita and architect Vojtěch Sosna are the first guests in the new discussion show titled After School?. Prepared primarily for students and recent graduates of architecture and design, it has been organized by the External Relations Department of FA CTU. "Through invited guests, we want to inspire, motivate, and above all, seek answers to everything that interests architects and designers at the beginning of their professional careers," says Michaela Mrázová, the creator, dramaturge, and host of the show, about the program.
Topics of conversation with the guests will include professional ethics and fees, pedagogical practice and research, product marketing, the connection between career and parenting, working with the public, and much more. The premiere episode of the pre-recorded show will be released once every three weeks on the FA YouTube channel.

Why the question mark in the title of the show After School?
The question mark in the title of the show represents all the questions, uncertainties, and concerns faced by graduating students or recent graduates regarding their future employment. Thanks to the show, they will have the opportunity, after school when their classes are over, to virtually visit a café where they can learn from experienced colleagues about what to expect after school once they obtain their diploma.
We invite you to our improvised studio in the empty ArchiCafé, where we have invited designer Roman Kvita, a graduate of the Industrial Design studio at Prague's UMPRUM and founder of Roman Kvita Design studio, and architect Vojtěch Sosna, an assistant professor at the Rothbauer studio at FA and co-founder of BOD architects.
The host of the show, architect Michaela Mrázová, will ask them about their beginnings, where they gained experience, why they chose to start their own studio, and what professions they collaborate with.
