Low-energy house Sluňákov - open house day

Eco-energy, architecture, educational biocenter, nature, and landscape.
Meeting: on Friday, November 3, 2006, at 4:30 PM in Olomouc and at 5:00 PM at the building of the Center for Ecological Activities in Horka nad Moravou.
Extraordinary tour of the low-energy house Sluňákov, which will serve the public starting January 2007 as a residence center for ecological education and a nature information center for the region and the CHKO Litovelské Pomoraví. Information about the building's (earth-sheltered house with a walkable roof) and energy (heat recovery, insulation of all walls and windows, passive solar energy, ground collectors, wood pellet boilers, and solar collectors) solutions. From 6 PM, a discussion dedicated to architecture, landscape, and ecological building.

The tour starts in Horka nad Moravou at the low-energy house at 5 PM. Transportation from Olomouc via public transport - buses no. 20 and 18 or by a provided bus at 4:30 PM from Výstavište Flóra.
